Get fit, stress less, and eat better are all typical New Year’s resolutions we promise ourselves to make at the start of the year. Why not make resolutions for your home?
Clean up your act this year by making these home resolutions to keep you organized and clean! Not a lot of extra time? Grab a calendar and schedule them throughout the year. Jump-start your year with a new coat of paint in one or more rooms in your home. Not only will it give your space a new look, but it will help motivate you to keep the space spick-and-span. Your cabinets and pantry get packed with items throughout the year. Take the time to go through and clean out yours. Consider purchasing bins to help organize like items as well, and don’t forget to
throw out expired items–especially the spices you used for one recipe years ago! Decluttering your home can be one of the hardest things to do, especially when it comes to getting rid of things with sentimental value. If you really can’t part with anything, consider boxes or baskets as an attractive way to keep things out of sight. If you want to go big with your home resolutions this year, consider new cabinets for your kitchen. Custom cabinets will allow you to organize your kitchen to fit your needs.
Baseball Caps - Clean those dusty caps with your dishes without damaging them the way a washing machine would
Dirty Sponges - Don’t use that smelly sponge to wash your dishes–kill the bacteria lingering in your sponge by sending it through the dishwasher
Makeup Brushes - Once a month, clean your makeup brushes by putting them in the silverware holder while you run a load of dishes
Keys - One of the dirtiest items you touch, basic metal keys can not only get cleaned by going through the dishwasher, but also sanitized
